I think the two are pretty different though. Baldwin would not really be
doing 5 a week - the article notes that he could do several in one day, and
would stockpile some for weeks and maybe months when he would do none. I
suspect they might also do only 4 shows per week, and have fairly frequent
rerun weeks (kind of like Poker after Dark). I don't think Baldwin would be
doing it for the money - he seems to get a kick out of having his own
platform.

Pollak, on the other hand, I think does want a bigger stage - and as we
know, he wants to make more money. They can monetize a podcast by selling
ad space or subscriptions (Pollak has had limited and no succes with that
kind of model) or they can monetize it by using it to bootstrap their way
to a more traditional tv show. If they put him at 12:35, it would cost
money - but I think they could get him for less than they are currently
paying Fallon. Baldwin would pretty much just be doing his podcast more
often and with video; Pollak would have to stop doing his podcast, and
instead do a late late talk show, which might be something of a hybrid
Letterman/OBrien type show with a Snyder type show - which I guess is
something like a variation on a Ferguson type show.
