Look out for Broadchurch on BBC America this summer. It's in the running for the best thing I've seen on TV this year (up with The Fall and Utopia). Tennant leads in that.
He's also just starred in the three-part Politician's Husband (much less good in my view). So his career is going fine. Eccleston will always pick and choose what he wants. He's that kind of actor. And he has an immense stage presence - I saw him in Antigone at the National Theatre last year, and A Doll's House at the Donmar previously (with Gillian Anderson who's in The Fall).
