Faced with Barbara Walters and Joy Behar's imminent retirement from the ABC
gabfest, the holder of the "young woman" seat (and, in the view of many,
the right-wing seat) is leaving after ten years to replace Gretchen Carlson
on the "Fox and Friends" curvy couch as the former Miss America is off to a
daytime show that will replace at least part of Megyn Kelly's "America's
Newsroom" as Kelly is promoted to a prime time show this fall (get all
that?):

Of course, Walters' seat has always been part-time, but Bill Geddie now has
two permanent seats to fill on the panel--will he stay with the strategy of
Hasselbeck's predecessors <John Henson> Debbie Snuffleupagus <JH> and Lisa
LIng and go for a sweet young thing, or will the seat now be filled by a
conservative firebrand? (I would assume that Behar's seat would be filled
by another comedian.) I guess if Ann Coulter or S.E. Cupp replaces
Hasselbeck, we'd get our answer.
