Not seeing Mark's post in GG either, i'll repost... "Faced with Barbara Walters and Joy Behar's imminent retirement from the ABC gabfest, the holder of the "young woman" seat (and, in the view of many, the right-wing seat) is leaving after ten years to replace Gretchen Carlson on the "Fox and Friends" curvy couch as the former Miss America is off to a daytime show that will replace at least part of Megyn Kelly's "America's Newsroom" as Kelly is promoted to a prime time show this fall (get all that?):
(same URL as the Joan-slammed-by-union piece)<http://www.thewrap.com/movies/article/striking-fashion-police-writers-bash-joan-rivers-video-101896> Of course, Walters' seat has always been part-time, but Bill Geddie now has two permanent seats to fill on the panel--will he stay with the strategy of Hasselbeck's predecessors <John Henson> Debbie Snuffleupagus <JH> and Lisa LIng and go for a sweet young thing, or will the seat now be filled by a conservative firebrand? (I would assume that Behar's seat would be filled by another comedian.) I guess if Ann Coulter or S.E. Cupp replaces Hasselbeck, we'd get our answer." -- B. -- -- TV or Not TV ....
