I have been getting a lot of notification about this today - people in my various online groups who know I am interested in politics apparently think this story is a story about media and politics. I have only seen the View a couple of times (when Dave was on I think, and I forget why for one or two other reasons), but I did not get the impression it was a political show. I undertand that Hasselbeck is conservative - but has the person who sits in that chair always been conservative? A show in which the debate appears to be between Joy Behar and Elizabeth Hasselbeck can not really claim to really have much in the way of use political discussion, can it? And from what I have heard about the Fox show, it seems to be even less serious. Are the two shows on in the same time slot?
