It reminded me that JF will be the first host since Carson to be *starring* on
Tonight.  After 22 years that just feels wrong.

It certainly killed most of the goodwill Sunday's Late Night special generated
in me.

The piece does imply an answer to one of the questions from an earlier thread -
some bits will be transferred from Late Night.  It confirms that the Roots will
be part of the show.

Subject: [TV orNotTV] Vomit inducing LA Times story on Jimmy Fallon

The headline alone will make you want to recall whatever you just ate.

But what really ticked me off is that the LOS ANGELES Times didn't talk at all
about how the loss of The Tonight Show affects California. The apx. 200 full
time crew, plus cars and drivers, plus catering, plus hotels, plus security,
plus tourism, and on and on. Burbank is losing an anchor for restaurants and
bars. Instead of addressing any of that, they do a puff piece.
