A recent "This American Life" entitled "Fiascos" opens with the story of a live version of "Peter Pan" that went horribly awry. As the "Spider-Man" musical made abundantly clear, the riggings required to make flight in real time a practical possibility need months if not years to work out the kinks. For the level of "quality" TV viewers are going to demand, let us hope they've been working on the flying aspects since mid-2012.
