In a full-page ad in major newspapers today, The Weather Channel is accusing DirecTV of hitting people who want to cancel because of TWC being dropped from the service's lineup with $200-400 termination fees and calls on them to stop it if they don't intend to put them back on:

Hasn't anyone ever explained to people that advertisers don't want to buy time on cable channels that people only watch for five minutes or less at a time, which is the problem with every channel that tried a radio-style format (TWC, MTV, VH1, HLN, CMT)? -- -- TV or Not TV ....
