In a full-page ad in major newspapers today, The Weather Channel is 
accusing DirecTV of hitting people who want to cancel because of TWC being 
dropped from the service's lineup with $200-400 termination fees and calls 
on them to stop it if they don't intend to put them back on:

Interestingly, all of the comments in the above link are anti-TWC, one 
calling them "the MTV of weather." Hasn't anyone ever explained to people 
that advertisers don't want to buy time on cable channels that people only 
watch for five minutes or less at a time, which is the problem with every 
channel that tried a radio-style format (TWC, MTV, VH1, HLN, CMT)?
