Yeah, I don't think there's a big problem with an entertainment story or something national being covered on the local news with news feed copy. Newspapers do it all the time with AP or Reuters stuff. So does newsradio. Why should local TV news be any different? Is it the lack of bylines?
I mean, local news should create original local news content. Stuff that is national is not really their beat. Do you really think that someone in Flint, Michigan will do a better job on the entertainment beat than that?
