"AXS" is pronounced "Access", not spelled out. Most of its programming is music programming of various concerts, including concerts, vidclips and the Gene Simmons reality show that moved over from A&E. The rest of the lineup is standup shows and Dan Rather's magazine series, which is actually from the times I've seen it from hotel rooms a pretty good newsmagazine show and definitely serious journalism. I'm glad that Cuban has kept it on the air when I have the feeling that AEG and Seacrest would rather not (although if CBS does own a piece of the channel now, if I were Rather I'd be a little worried).
