I'm sure Tribune is thinking that hit sitcoms are going to become scarcer and more expensive (how much do they pay Warners for "2.5 Men?"), that one-camera sitcoms that aren't called "Modern Family" stink in syndication, that "Wheel" has creaky demos and is probably near the end of the road and that they can't do much more local news, especially to counterprogram the network stations (WGN's dinner-hour newscast is going to two hours next month from 4 to 6 p.m.), so why not give SCG, Geoff and Secretariat a shot in the dinner hour? The only other thing I could think of is to go to Warners and suggest that Rotten Tomatoes do a nightly strip built around reviews and commentary instead of gossip and fake-laughing morning zoos (like "Dish Nation"), but it would probably get horrible numbers.
I noticed that the idiot commenters kept saying that Craig would be on "The CW" in prime time. Prime access is not prime time and Tribune owns more than just CW affils. Morons.
