Actually, the house sold several months ago – after being on the market for a 
long time.

 

It is in Chatham County – and in the Second District.  He often tells the story 
of discovering on election day that he had been gerrymandered – from Democratic 
Representative David Price’s district to Republican Renee Ellmers’.

 

He’s now renting a house in Cary, which is in Wake County.

 

What I find sorta interesting is how almost every media outlet got wrong the 
facts of his primary win.  And, the story isn’t that complicated!  But, as I 
said, almost no one got it right.

Thought I'd stick this here. Aiken just sold a mansion on nearly seven acres in 
the Durham area (which isn't in his district) at a significant loss.
