I think the main reason this is not off-topic is because the history of
your fandom is so deeply entwined with the history of this list. I think it
is very cool to hear that you have been able to break bread with him and
work on his campaign.

If Shannen Doherty was running for congress in Burbank and Kevin was one of
her precinct captains and having dinner with her, I think we would want to
hear about it here.

Personally, as a liberal Dem living in a deep blue state and district, I
make it a point to donate to Democrats running in difficult districts
across the country, and usually spend time in the fall making phone calls
for them. I will be happy to add Mr. Aiken to my list.
