Either CC or WWP may have given us the general time frame of mid December. But he has had a running thing on the show first of pretending he was not leaving, and then of pretending he does not know when. I am not sure if that is part of some gag, or some legal technicality in his contract or what (maybe obligation to sponsors?). I can recall several times earlier this year when a guest brought up that he was leaving and, leaning heavily into his persona, he denied any knowledge of what they were talking about.
