I think I am surprised (I know I am pleased) that he is going through most
of May - I had been thinking February.

I am also thinking Colbert has been kind of coy about his Late Show plans
on CR until Dave formally announced an end date. I suppose we will now hear
something more specific from him tonight or tomorrow.

This means Colbert will have like nine months off the air until he starts
up Late Show - I would not be surprised if this is by design. He works like
a dog on the Colbert Report, and I am sure he wants some time off before
diving in to full time prep for LS.
