Like you, I'm not much of a Fallon fan. I'm still amazed that they could
have the five Pythons on and do a segment which wasn't funny. I know there
are people on this list who disagree with us, and they're as entitled to
their opinions as we are.

I wonder if after the years of shows with the "cynical" point of view that
started with Dave (or even Lorne and SNL), there was a substantial audience
for a show with a "Gee Whiz" attitude. It's something Fallon does well, and
many people may find it as refreshing as we found Late Night taking on the
pinheads in NBC management decades ago.
