What we know so far is that the new marquee's east-facing sign is back-lit and reads "The Late Show Starring." The endcaps seem to be video screens that (in the photos I've seen) say "with Stephen Colbert." My guess is that either the long main piece is going to stay static or the electrics weren't finished in time. I'm assuming the former, since the only way it's really fully visible is from the east side of Broadway, whereas the north and south video screens are more practical for advertising purposes. (As well, anyone who's seeing the east facade will have already seen the north or south video screens).
As far as the interior goes, the shots on the Eyes of a Generation FB page show the ceiling restored to brown-orange faux mosaic (duplicating the original look of Hammerstein's Theatre) with the original stained glass windows restored. It's hard to tell in the shots, but it looks like the new seats are black, as opposed to the old red.
