I'm not keen on the slim fit either, in part because I know it would look
hideous on me.
I will say I like the new colors Stephen has worn. The particular shade of
blue on the first nice really caught my eye. It reminded me of the new suit
SCG has on the new season of his game show.

over at TCR Brooks Brothers was the only company willing to work with them at
the start, and they stuck with them for the whole run. For Late Show they had
several fittings, which suggests to me that if he had gained weight, it would
have been recent. Alternately, slim fit suits are still a thing, fashion wise
(Colbert's GQ spread suggests as much). Batiste is certainly working a slim
fit silhouette.
I am far from a fashionplate; I do not have the taste or the physique for the
slim fit; it is quite possible the suits fit fine and I am just reacting to
that skinny style (which my daughter's mid 20-something boyfriend constantly
rocks, and I think looks a half size too small). I liked Colbert's look at TCR.
