Since Bob quoted the whole post, I'll indulge in a little update here:
 "Wits" was dropped a few months by American Public Media for reason of
lack of stations, particularly in the major markets.  It also seems that
some stations have indicated to APM that they will not pay premium prices
for a Kellior-less "PHC," but APM hasn't gotten to that point yet.  And if
stations drop "PHC," a prime candidate for replacement might be "Live
Wire," the put-a-bird-on-it comedy-variety show from Portlandia hosted by
former NPR reporter and "Wait, Wait..." panelist Luke Burbank whose home
station is Oregon Public Broadcasting (but is not produced by OPB), which
right now only boasts WBEZ Chicago as a Big 3 market station.
