I can't say whether or not WRAL did the right thing. All I can say is, given the long and storied history of Capitol Broadcasting censoring and/or outright blocking programming deemed objectionable (except, of course, in the case where said programming turned a profit in due course), that to say that WRAL is stodgy is an insult to the concept of stodginess. After all, this is a 60-year-old still locally owned-and-operated Southern television station that used to run editorials by Jesse Helms, now located square in the crossroads of urban NC and rural NC. ~D -- -- TV or Not TV ....
