If you owned the rights I don't think you would have any trouble getting a deal with a basic or even premium cable network; it would be kind of interesting to see a somewhat more mature imagining if ST on HBO. CBS of course is using it to jump start their online network.
It probably would be harder to put together your own syndication package these days - but why would you need or want to?
