Wouldn't be much trouble to get the NFL to agree. They don't care what game is on, as long as there's a game on.
The owners of the Rams and Chargers however, would never hear of it. That's money and exposure (which potentially equals future money) for them.

A year after the league gave them the go-ahead: in soccer's LA Galaxy's building (guaranteeing non-blackouts?), then joining the Rams at the former Hollywood Park in 2019. The commish respected owner Spanos' resolve to fight as long as he did for a San Diego stadium deal.
