The interesting part for me is in this Times article from yesterday, where the head of PwC said when he saw Culliman and Ruiz from his seat at the ceremony, he knew something was wrong because "It’s not their job to come out on stage." This goes against what I was under the impression, which was that had something like this occurred, the PwC people would, in fact, literally come on stage to announce the winner. The geek in me is now curious what the proper protocol was.
