Semi-related, I bought the audiobook of the Oral History of the Daily Show
(not read by the people involved and not including clips from the series...
instead EVERYTHING is dramatically reenacted, which gets strange fast).
Lots of interesting stories about how Colbert's character came to be, how
close the spinoff series came to being a Meet the Press/Face the Nation
parody hosted by another TDS correspondent, and not nearly enough about how
Kilborn left.

Regarding interviews, the book covers what they claim was Stewart's worst
interview, with Jennifer Love Hewitt, where he made her cry, but I cannot
find it on the Tube of You (only clips of others describing the interview).
