But I don't really get the point here - it seems like their argument needs an example of a bland show getting streamed by lots of different types of viewers who were convinced they liked it because of algorithmic recommendations. House of Cards really is a quality series, David Fincer really is a good content producer. The Netflix algorithm is good at letting people know about content they have a high likelihood of watching. I did not stream a minute of Full House or Gilmore Girls, and I cant imagine that anything that Netflix could have done to get me to.
