"You the Jury," the faux live courtroom show (with the home audience
playing jury) hosted by Jeannine Piro from Fox News that Fox started airing
at the beginning of April, seems to have been cancelled after only two
Friday night telecasts with really, really bad ratings:

There were other live courtroom shows that were in the pipeline, most
notably the NBC one produced by Dick Wolf and having the "Law and Order"
brand attached to it, but THR says that those shows are probably all but
dead. Meanwhile, Fox continues to struggle with any reality that's not
hosted by Gordon Ramsay (a similar problem at the other OTA nets, with the
possible exceptions of NBC's "The Wall" game show and ABC's classic game
show reboots). Rob Wade, the former showrunner of "Dancing With the
Stars," was put in charge of unscripted right before "You the Jury" hit the
air and he'll have this summer to prove himself, with the Jamie Foxx game
show "Beat Shazam" (as in the music-identifying phone app), Mike Fleiss's
reboot of "Love Connection" with Andy Cohen and another trip to the Chef
Ramsay well "The 'F' Word" (an Americanization of his British food magazine
series--and that's what the title means, not what he often says).
Meanwhile, NBC has the Jennifer Lopez comp "World of Dance" flanking
"AGT," "Hollywood Game Night," "The Wall" and whatever else NBC has and ABC
will present yet another shot at a singing comp "Boy Band" the reboot of
"The Gong Show" with Mike Meyers hosting pretending to be a Brit (or so it
seems) and "Steve Harvey's Funderdome" (which will air after "Celebrity
Family Feud" on Sunday nights), along with the game shows and the
"Bachelor" franchise shows. Meanwhile, CBS, with all of those repeatable
multi-cam sitcoms and procedurals, will stick with nothing else for summer
reality other than Chenbot and "Big Brother."
