IMO it's the best museum in DC. And, given how many museums there are here, that's saying a lot!
I currently volunteer in a job that often requires making recommendations for tourists, and it's always at the top of my list, especially if the families include high-school age kids (and, frankly, it doesn't make sense for parents with younger children to pick DC as a tourist destination).
