I haven't finished the pilot yet but it seems meh. It seems too nice. They need McFarlane or his ex wife to be nastier. Plus I already saw the best jokes in the previews. The CGI looks great. The special effect where the security officer jumps a long distance looks like high school sophomore visual arts class. No characters have a breakout moment in the pilot. I'm a McFarlane fan. I am not ready to write off the show yet.
