NBC Burbank was my home base, but I have fond memories of TV City, too. I spun the Price Is Right wheel backstage, watched several tapings of Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show, and slept in a soap opera actress’ dressing room. That said, the facility desperately needs an upgrade. Many of the stages are not sized for the sort of large-scale tv that people expect now. The electrical system is stone-age, and the roof leaks. I would join a campaign to make it a historic landmark if it would help, but it didn’t work for NBC Burbank. Time marches on. -- Kevin M. (RPCV) -- -- TV or Not TV .... The Smartest (TV) People!
