I confess, I found one of those lesser video websites (Vimeo) where somebody uploaded a fuzzy copy of the first two webisodes, and I use the outdated term webisodes because that's exactly what they are (10 minutes each, low production value).
I already bought all the DVDs of SG1 and Atlantis (SG:U wasn't even worth the time it took to download the free episodes on iTunes), so I had no interest in shelling out money for a standalone player that only plays Stargate Episodes. But, I thought to myself, if Origins turns out to be good, I'll consider it. I am not considering it. Congrats to MGM for making a prequel to their scifi franchise so bad that it makes me reconsider how bad the Star Trek prequel series is. -- Kevin M.
