I liked him on Wilmore and I think he was a big part of the success of TDS. This was not an unfunny person, it was a funny person not being funny. Maybe I am exaggerating, though I appreciate Jon’s confirmation. It seemed to me like his timing was off, or he had just broken up with his GF. But maybe it was the material.
