Colbert introduced Albanese as being from the Stewart era of TDS so maybe he was throwing Albanese a bone by inviting him to perform there. And I don't know how the LS prepares standups to perform. I know when Eddie Brill was the standup coordinator during the Letterman era He would talk to the standup long before their appearance and help find the best five or six minutes out of the act. Then he would ask the standup to do that chunk on stage a few times to find the beats and sharpen timing. So the standups had some preparation for the LS. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
