Farage is actually still an MEP - Member of the European Parliament. Yes, the organisation he so despises! But no, he's never won a UK election.
Boris, sadly, is still thinking about future positions. He thinks solely about himself and what his next job is. He was possibly out-manoeuvred a little by a fellow minister who also resigned today. But as a political pundit earlier on put it, he's like one those really bad horror movies, where just when you think the beast is dead and the film has ended, the very last frame has a hand coming out the earth where the monster was buried...
