That is a pretty broad brush. I think there has been some exceptional journalism at the major newspapers and some websites covering the WH in the Age of Trump. The WHCA is not dominated by the Jim Acosta’s of the world.
And Chernow is an amazing biographer, and great choice to speak at this event. Aside from his biography of our first Treasury Secretary inspiring the greatest single American artistic accomplishment of the last two centuries, his Grant biography is a masterpiece, and tailor made to provide a historical context in which to critique the current President.
