Its a tight race, but I think this production of Rent is the worst of all the recent generation of TV Musicals (haven’t quite finished it). It doesn’t help that I was quickly reminded of how obnoxious I found the original show to be.
I’m not sure how much of this is due to the last minute problems. Maybe the low energy vibe is because it was a dress rehearsal.
