My issue is still less focused on the stupid thing Brokaw said, but more
focused on why he’d be asked to comment on the subject. That’s where the
Russert comparison comes in, where Todd was simply clueless about why
Brokaw’s opinions on this topic couldn’t matter less. He wasn’t paying
enough attention to his show to realize he should ask an expert
questions... or don’t ask the questions.
