I'm just going to cross my fingers that they'll get people to record better
audio.
We may still be in the minority, but I also like Che and Jost on Update.
I did not, however, care for the audience laughter during Update,

It’s always easy to bash SNL, but I give them credit for trying this,
producing an episode which was not worse than a typical week (whatever that
might mean to any particular viewer). The Host was predictable but damn if not
still comforting.
Maybe I would have liked to see them try to do things a little differently,
maybe have cast members do something like their original auditions for the
show, or maybe what they would do if auditions for the show today.
Michael Che’s grandmother really did die from the virus last week, and he
included a reference to that in his typical way. I happen to like both Che and
Jost in WU, but I suspect I am in the minority. Also a nice tribute to Hal
Willner.
