Putting together a show like this is a pretty thankless task. The situation
changes so quickly and getting a good reaction to it is nearly impossible,
let alone trying to find something funny about it. The one really negative
thing I saw is how hollow and lifeless the Trump and Sanders parodies have
become. There was never any depth to them as they relied on stunt casting
and now they feel stale and out of touch. Doing Weekend Update with people
piped in to laugh also failed and I hope they learn that lesson.

I will give credit to Lorne and the cast and crew for not being afraid to
fail.
