Speaking of Regis and Trump... Last Friday "Live" reran Regis' last show from November 2011. Having watched it the first time it aired, I remembered a funny moment: just after the hosts sit down, Kelly mentions that the audience is filled with friends and "big stars," and Regis retorts: "What big stars?! Tony Danza is the biggest star here!!" It gets a big laugh and applause, and the camera cuts to Tony laughing and whistling in the audience. Then back to the hosts, as Kelly leans over to Regis and says "Donald Trump was VERY offended by that." Cut to Trump in the audience laughing.
On last Friday's rerun, Kelly's joke was cut out. So they cut from Tony whistling to Trump laughing, then back to the hosts. BTW, when the repeat started I wondered if I would be able to pick out Trump in the crowd, and I did so immediately... thanks to that stupid, long red tie. It really makes him stand out. Kind of like a clown's red nose.
