It's tough to demand one sport cancel its season while others successfully go on. That said, the powers that be in the NFL were overly optimistic by not building some kind of cushion in for delaying games. When one team has positive tests two teams are affected by the need to reschedule the game. Players don't get paid for games they don't play so there will be a lot of pressure from the NFLPA to keep the league from declaring forfeits. There has been some public grousing from Steelers players who were forced to take an early bye week and then have mostly road games in the second half of the season. They feel they have been put at disadvantage by Tennessee's reckless behavior. The more disruptions to the schedule that occur, the more grousing there will be. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TVorNotTV" group.
