This was an episode from 1998. The only other time I remember them doing that was in 1995, when John Goodman was hosting and Don Pardo said "special appearance by Dan Aykroyd." I believe Aykroyd was in almost every skit, including a memorable sendup of Tom Snyder's Late Late Show.
