If I had access to the suggestion box at Nexstar HQ, I’d submit a 30-minute 
nightly newscast from NewsNation on the CW at 10/9 (either simulcast or 
stand-alone), with the option for a local newscast to follow.
 
Obviously, there are issues - among them, ad revenue-sharing and 
cross-ownership promotion (e.g., my Nexstar-owned CBS affiliate promoting the 
nightly Nexstar network news airing on the Gray-owned CW outlet) - but the 
facilitator told us “there are no bad ideas.”
