I remember the last time Brees was tried as a commentator was at NBC in 2021, right after he retired from the Saint,s where he was put on FNIA and as the Color Guy for Notre Dame and there was probably an intent to make him a potential replacement for Collinsworth but he bombed so bad in the role that NBC let him go after a year.
I don't have any confidence that Brees has improved in the last four years since he was last on TV.
