I am having trouble with Ku reception since a recent reinstallation (moved). SBS 6, etc. all appear very sparkly with a lower signal strength than I had before. The technician who installed it had to splice the cable. I've always been told this is a major no-no, but as it was spliced (F connectors) inside the house I was told it was OK. No real difference in C, just the Ku. Could my problem be:
- the splice - needing to physically go out and repeak the BUD in case it is off a declination or two? - something I haven't thought of? Thanks for any advice! ------------------------ Yahoo!
