It depends what you are looking for. If you want to replace cable or Dish / DirectTV with your big dish, you should have gone the 4DTV route.
If you're looking for feeds and ethnic programs, the DVB (MPG2) box is the way to go. There is some mainstream stuff on DVB but not much you couldn't get off-air. It's a fun hobby, but I wouldn't want it for my sole TV source. The 4DTV on the other hand is TV nirvana. Excellent picture quality, most the channels your cable / pizza dish providers offer, and a-la-carte programing packages. I decided I needed a HD DVR so I went the Cable / Tivo route. I often miss my 922 though! Get the both of best worlds. Setup the 922 on your big dish, slave the DVB box to it and you can watch almost anything up there. You may look into a motorized Ku only dish down the road too.
