That name brings back memories. (So does yours Frank) I sure remember those
great days of Analog C band, I remember how excited I was when I, yes I,
installed a rather tall horizontal pipe in my front yard in late 1980, followed
by putting together and then installing a 10 foot C band dish and then in early
1981, I finally boresited everything in, using a hand crank to change satellite
positions. That was a dumb idea on how to save money. Needless to say I ordered
an actuator arm soon thereafter. I sold that house and live in a condo when in
Seattle. During the rainy season, I head for central Mexico where, of course I
have a C band system. Sadly I can't use either DISH or DirecTV for my local
Seattle stations in Mexico, and, of course, C band isn't the answer either.
Well I could watch Cable News Northwest on channel 581 on my 4DTV on one of the
birds.

Luckily Star Choice, one of the two Canadian small dish systems does have a
strong signal in most of Mexico and it does carry among others the more popular
Seattle stations.
