Hello, This past Winter my 4DTV, a DRS 920, unit would do what I would call a master reset each time we lost power at the house, forcing me to reset the dish limits and program each satellites position into the unit. Well one thing led to another and I have not done anything with it now since March. At the time my subscription was about to run out and fearing that the unit was about to die I just hooked up my wife's cable to my TV receiver and I have been using the cable feed since then.
Is this condition possibly caused by low battery voltage or is there something a bit more sinister going on here. I am still able to retrieve all of the unit and board ID's. Right now apparently since I do not have a subscription the map does not up date and the only satellites available are the old ones. Does anyone have any ideas? Is there still life left in this old dog or is it in need of major repair? Thanks ! [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
