Hi,

Answer to all your Questions is Open Office.
Open Office allows you to export your documents & presentations in the
most of the available formats.
Its easy to convert from one format to another in Open Office just choose Save
As & choose the type of format you want & save it.
Open Office comes Pre installed in Most of the Linux Destros I dont
know about Debian 4.0 Etch if you don't have Open Office then
Download & install it(http://www.openoffice.org/).

Hope this helps.

Sumit
