Hi Vijaylakshmi: IIRC Sify broadband used to provide a Linux dialer (script) and a Mac dialer which was Java based. Atleast that was the situation 4-5 yrs ago and that was also the time i used Sify for about 2-3 months before giving up on it. Sify usually provides an IP address to download the dialer from. I'd suggest you download the Java based Mac dialer. It has the UI which is pretty much the same as Sify Windows dialer and has identical functionality (connect, renew etc). Perhaps members on the list may have additional pointers on the situation with Sify dialer as things stand today. thanks Saifi.
