A possible partition layout (with mount points specified) can be:

/dev/sda1     9.9GB    HPFS/NTFS  C:
/dev/sda2     64MB     ext3       /boot
/dev/sda3     64GB     Extended
/dev/sda4     1024MB   swap       none
/dev/sda5     62.9Gb   ext3       /

You can use the 'manual/expert' partition option and get going.
